Directions
The City of Rotorua and Hamurana Lodge are in the heart of the North Island, just 60 kilometres (37 miles) south of Tauranga, 80 kilometres (50 miles) north of Taupo, 105 kilometres (65 miles) east of Hamilton, and 230 kilometres (140 miles) southeast of Auckland.
GETTING TO ROTORUA BY AIR

FROM ROTORUA AIRPORT
Turn left out of the gate and continue for 9km. At the north end of the lake turn left at Mourea into Hamurana Road and follow the signs to Ngongotaha. Hamurana Lodge is located 100-meter on the right after the Tauranga Direct Road SH36.

FROM NGONGOTAHA
From SH5 north of Rotorua (at the roundabout) turn onto SH36 signed for Tauranga. Pass through the Ngongotaha village and continue on for 5km where you will find Hamurana Lodge on your left, 100-meter after the 80k zone Hamurana signage and before the Tauranga Direct Road SH36.
FROM TAURANGA & THE COROMANDEL
Take the SH36 through Pyes Pa from Tauranga to Rotorua. You will reach a T intersection at Hamurana. Turn right and you will find Hamurana Lodge
